Agricultural days
some ruminations on the way of the land
I did not study programming that much on these last few days
Agriculture
I've traveled quite a bit lately. Outside from posting here, learning to code, playing board games, cooking, and annoying my beloved, I make food happen on the field.
That is what we here call Agronomical Engineering. Not just the biology of it, but the whole administrative, legal, customs, economic, meteorologic, speculative, environmental, executive, structural, energetic, construction, the whole of it to make food appear on your supermarkets, pet food, fuel, kitchens.
To work the engineering of agriculture is to deal with the whole of life. You deal with people, with government, with banks, with foreigners, with neighbors, competitors, with selling, with buying, with animals and you deal with plants - most of the time.
Plants like those
And since I help grow these plants in a tropical climate, it means I have to tend to them most of the year.
If there is room, rain, people and market to grow it, we most definitely grow it.
And we also deal with a lot of pressure from the outsidewise. We take good care of our environment, we even take better care of it then you whole lot. There's laws til' you cannot count them, as there is beauty in our environments. The cons of being a third world country is that you have to do the bidding of those who know nothing of us, telling us how we should do things we do exceptionally well already in here - for their benefit, not ours.
Let's open source the world. Everyone should have their own self determination.
Regardless of your wars out there, here, there's life, there's hope, there's beauty.
There's also struggle. But we try to keep it at minimal.
Don't tread on us. That way we all can be happy and well fed.
I'll keep on coding now.
